When it comes to the most popular Cape Cod beaches Barnstable has to be on your list of destinations.
The town of Barnstable is comprised of six different villages. They are Centerville, Osterville, Hyannis, Marston Mills, Cotuit, and West Barnstable.
The most well known of these is Hyannis, thanks in part to the Kennedy family, who spent many of thier summers at the Kennedy Compound in Hyannis. Hyannis has a fairly large port where you can get a ferry to Nantucket or Marthas Vineyard, a great day trip for the whole family.
Beach stickers can be purchased in the Recreation Department at the Kennedy Ice Arena. The office is open starting in May, Monday through Friday from 9AM-4PM. 508-790-6345.

It is one of Cape Cod’s most popular beaches, especially with the younger set. Summer will find the beach crowded with college students and teens.
