The Cape Cod beaches in Harwich are located on Nantucket Sound and Pleasant Bay.
As you travel along the Harwich shoreline you will notice some incredibly scenic views of its three harbors, Wychmere, Saquatucket and Allen.

Bank Street Beach features the soft sand and the warm, calm water of Nantucket Sound. This town beach is very popular and can get crowded. A beach sticker is required for parking. Amenities include:

Pleasant Bay Beach
Pleasant Bay Beach is also known as Jacknife Harbor Beach. Located along Rt 28 on Pleasant Bay, on the Harwich-Chatham town line.
A very informal beach with limited parking.
There are no amenities, which makes for very few people…Just the way we like it. The warm, calm waters of Pleasant Bay make this a perfect destination for families with young children.
If you are looking for an uncrowded Cape Cod beach to spend a couple of hours on with your toddler, this may be your beach.
Directions: Located right along Rt 28 on the Harwich-Chatham town line. There is no Parking Lot, just a few places to pull over. Don’t blink, or you will miss it.
Red River Beach
Red River Beach is one of the largest Cape Cod beaches in Harwich, featuring the soft sand and warm, placid waters of Nantucket Sound. Parking requires a daily fee. Amenities include:
