The Cape Cod beaches in Mashpee are limited due to its small amount of shoreline.

Mashpee is home to the Wampanoag Nation, the Native American tribe that met the Pilgrims in Plymouth.

Although Mashpee has changed since the days of the Pilgrims, the Wampanoag continue to educate the public about their Native American heritage through their Tribal Council acitivities, annual Powwow, and their Indian museum.

The Cape Cod beaches in Mashpee consist of five miles of shoreline on Nantucket and Vineyard Sounds.

Beach stickers for the Cape Cod beaches in Mashpee can be purchased at Town Hall, located at 16 Great Neck Road North.

The office is open Monday through Friday, 9AM – 4PM and Saturday 9AM – Noon.

South Cape is one of the Cape Cod beaches of Nantucket Sound, offering beautiful views of Martha’s Vineyard and featuring warm, calm, waters and the soft white sand that Nantucket Sound Beaches are known for.

South Cape is known as a fishing hotspot, so be sure to pack a fishing rod.
