We are a family of five going to the cape from cooperstown, looking forward to a fun and relaxing vacation. We chose cape cod blindly and staying at the lighthouse Inn. As I am looking at other places I am wondering if we chose the right place for our family.
While we love to relax, we also are traveling with our five children and realize this means different type of vacation as we will stay a bit busier. So my question is what are some 1/2 day trips to take?

We would suggest a trip to Chatham for shopping downtown. Also a trip to Marthas Vineyard or Nantucket.
