by Kim (Boston, Ma) We were looking for a good pizza on Cape Cod. We had tried Brewster Pizza and we were not impressed. Someone had told us to try Laurino’s on Rt 6A. From the moment we walked in we knew that this was not your ordinary Cape Cod restaurant. The inside was kind of dark, with… Read More »
(Falmouth, MA USA) Beautiful place. Last night was our first time dining there. Moussaka was all ground beef…couldn’t find the eggplant and didn’t care for the fresh tomato sauce. Flavor was missing. Very disappointing. My husband didn’t care for the lamb shank he ordered either. We have had these meals elsewhere and they are among our favorites. We… Read More »

by Jean (Brewster) Just got back from an extremely noisy dinner at the Ocean House. Our waiter was terrific and the food was quite good but when we were seated we were told that the party of about 30-35 people next to us was about to leave. Anonymous Cape Cod resident BEST fried food: Original Seafood in Dennisport… not Kream n’ Kone. Skip them. Best ice cream: Sundae School, but Cape Cod Creamery in Yarmouth is memorable as well. Best family restaurant: The Riverway. You can bring your kids, eat well, not pay a lot and not wait long. What more can you ask for?… Read More »

The Old Yarmouth Inn, is very Cape Coddie (is that a word?)what you would call a traditional old captains home converted into an excellent dining experience. If you arrive between 4-6pm expect an early bird special that cannot be beat. Our party of eleven was handled (with reservations) with great service and the food was above expectations for… Read More »

by Lise (Swan ton vt) Most disappointing. Fried scallops were pieces of mystery fish. It was explained to us that the scallops were cut up because they were SO large. The cinnamon taste of the scallops was attributed to the ” sweetness” of the scallops. We left not feeling well…upset stomach. This appears to be the proverbial tourist… Read More »

The food, especially the lobster, is amazing. The only problem is that the line for a table is usually kind of long.
Food was way overpriced and horrible. The hostess was smug and very annoyed when we asked how long it would for our reserved table. We waited over 30 minutes for a table that we reserved 4 days before we even got to the cape! Not worth the wait. Join in and write your own Cape Cod Restaurant Reviews!
by Christian D. (Montreal) We went to have late dinner at the Wicked Oyster in wellfleet. Despite a promising menu, our experience was not worth nor the money and the time we spent.
