We are two Gals in our late 40’s that would like to stay overnight and catch up in the cape with an outdoor pool and cocktails waterfront if possible.

Is this even available there?

WE would prefer not to have lots of kids since we are looking to have some quiet time 🙂

Please tell me such a place exists.

Thank you.

Where to stay NEW

down near Nauset Beach in Orleans, try to get a place there. Why? Because you will love Nauset Beach, and you want to be able to walk to that beach vs driving to it and dealing with a line of cars, paying for parking, etc. There is housed bathrooms, outdoor rinse-offs, and a snack shack that serves up a variety of foods that will allow you to stay at the beach all day. Later, you can go out to a restaurant of your choice in Orleans or out further in any direction. Pretty much you can’t pick a lousy place to eat on The Cape. Just do a little research to find the type of place you want, fish market style – dress-up, it’s your choice. I grew up in Orleans across the marsh from Nauset Beach, I worked in restaurants there during my youth, I enjoyed the ocean and salt water inlet waters as well as the fresh water ponds. After college in NH I moved out to CA, and did some cross country trips during that transition. I love CA and all it has to offer. But there is nothing like The Cape, Nauset Beach, and the restaurants – bars/ grills – and eat in fish markets. There’s nothing like the folks that own and work at the places you visit on The Cape. It’s a precious short summer season that both those seving and those being served come to appreciate.
