We were looking for a good pizza on Cape Cod. We had tried Brewster Pizza and we were not impressed. Someone had told us to try Laurino’s on Rt 6A.
From the moment we walked in we knew that this was not your ordinary Cape Cod restaurant. The inside was kind of dark, with warm wood paneling, and it had that special intangible that all good restaurants have…Noise…The hustle and bustle of everyone enjoying themselves and paying no attention to how loud the place is.
The other thing that makes Laurino’s nice is the outdoor patio and playground for the kids…Yes, I said playground for the kids…Brilliant! You have got to love dining al fresco on the Cape!
I don’t remember who it was that told us to try Laurino’s, but if I ever remember, I have got to thank them. We really enjoyed our pizza.
It is rectangular pan pizza…Not the round pizza that everyone is used to. The thing that set it apart were the ingredients. We had a meatball pie, which was covered with slices of huge meatballs that were obviously made on the premises…They were delicious…Some of the best meatballs I have ever had!
If you find yourself in the Brewster area, looking for a really good pizza…Maybe the best pizza on Cape Cod…You have got to try Laurino’s. They are right on 6A, just before you get to Orleans. Try it today!
